Building manager

A well-managed building never makes the news. That is the whole art of the profession.

Fixed-term or permanent · full time · Luxembourg · extensive remote working

The context

Why this position exists

In Luxembourg, a building often brings together residents, foreign investors and holding companies, who do not expect the same from their building. Aurels’s building management is distinctive in relying on accounts kept in-house and on colleagues able to answer a co-owner’s tax question. We entrust our manager with a portfolio of buildings to follow from the general meeting to the last statement of charges.

Your role

What you will do

  • Prepare, convene and hold general meetings, then implement their decisions.
  • Draw up budgets, calls for funds and annual statements of charges, with the accounting team.
  • Manage maintenance and works: quotations, choice of contractors, site monitoring, acceptance.
  • Handle claims with insurers and service providers.
  • Be the point of contact for co-owners and the owners’ council, with written, dated, understandable answers.

At Aurels

What you will find with us

A number of buildings suited to serious follow-up, not a portfolio skimmed over. Building accounts kept by accountants, a message away. The opportunity to extend your role to property development or real estate asset management.

Profile

Who we are looking for
