The context
Why this position exists
Our accounting firm serves companies whose managers expect more than data entry: a reading of their figures, and an answer when the question goes beyond the balance sheet. We are strengthening the team to maintain this availability as the portfolio grows.
Your role
What you will do
- Keep the accounts of a portfolio of Luxembourg companies under Lux GAAP, from source documents to annual accounts.
- Prepare and file VAT returns on eCDF, and annual accounts with the Trade and Companies Register.
- Prepare companies’ tax returns with the file manager.
- Be the day-to-day contact for your clients, and recognise the question that belongs to a colleague in advisory or property.

Who we are looking for
What we require
- A degree in accounting or management (BTS, bachelor’s, master’s, DSCG) and at least five years’ experience in a fiduciary in Luxembourg.
- Command of Lux GAAP, the Luxembourg VAT regime and eCDF.
- Fluent French and English.
A plus: German; the chartered accountant qualification, applications from chartered accountants being welcome; an interest in the taxation of property-holding companies.

In practice
Full-time fixed-term or permanent contract, in Luxembourg, with extensive remote working: the firm works a great deal remotely. Please state your available start date in your application.
